1. Figs bloom on the inside and require pollination from one single species of insect small enough to crawl inside, the fig wasp. I could go on and on about all the things I learned about the fig today. You can read more via The New Yorker here.
2. The internet is not just for creeps anymore. I had the good fortune of spending the day with a fellow artist who I first met on Instagram. We had never met in real life and got to talk about art, motherhood, and where to score Ace + Jig on sale, all face to face. It was grand.
3. Painting is a wonderful. Especially in complete silence with my daughter. I could have frozen time this afternoon and been forever happy.
